Susan Sarandon Bio
It was the 1968 Democratic Convention, and there was a casting request for a movie that featured many characters for youngsters who interrupted it. Joe (1970) was auditioned for by Joe (1970) and Joe (1970) Two recently graduated Catholic University students. Chris Sarandon was not selected even though he prior studies in acting. His wife Susan was given the coveted role in the movie as Susan Compton, the child of Bill Compton (Dennis Patrick). Dad Bill kills Susan’s drug dealer boyfriend. Then, Joe (Peter Boyle), a bigot who works on an assembly line, and also collects guns, befriends Susan. Five years later Sarandon makes the film. Janet is a transvestite who falls in love with Dr. Frank n Furter (1975). After more than 15 years of making her debut, Sarandon at last actively campaigned for a role that was a hit, Annie in Bull Durham (1988), taking a flight herself from Rome to Los Angeles. Sarandon said that "It was an incredible script... it eliminated a myriad of stereotypes and challenged America's notion of what success is". "I was there for a while with Kevin Costner, sex some men in the studio and then I got back on the plane. Her romance with the Bull Durham (1988)) acting partner, Tim Robbins, had produced two sons by 1992, and put Sarandon in the awkward position of leaving her domestic paradise to take on roles that really tested her. It was the result of four Academy Award nominations in 1990s and for best actress in Dead Man Walking (1995). Louis Malle's Atlantic City (1980), was her first Academy Award nomination.
