American actor Courtney Thorne Smith was born on the 8th of November, 1967. Her best-known work is her roles on Melrose Place, Alison Parker on Melrose Place, Georgia Thomas on Ally McBeal, Cheryl in According to Jim and her regular role in Two and a Half Men as Lyndsey McElroy. Thorne Smith was raised in Menlo Park in the south of San Francisco. Walter Smith was her father and Lora Thorne was her mother. Both were computer market researchers. Courtney, who was seven years old, separated from her father Walter Smith. She was a part of both of her parents at different times. Jennifer is her older sister is an ad executive. She graduated in 1985 from Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley, California. She also performed for the Ensemble Theater Company in Mill Valley as she was in high school. Thorne Smith was a part of her first film role in the 1986 film Lucas alongside Winona Ryder and Corey Haim. In the 80s, she starred in a number of films like Welcome to 18 (1986), Revenge of the Nerds II : Nerds in Paradise (1987), Summer School (87) and Side Out (1990). In 1998, she appeared as an actress in the box office chairman of the board, a failure, alongside Carrot Top. In 2009 she appeared in Sorority Wars. Thorne Smith was the lover of Andrew Shue from Melrose Place in the 1990s. In June 2000, she was married Andrew Conrad, a geneticist. The couple separated in January 2001. Roger Fishman (president of Zizo Group Zizo Group, a marketing company) and author of What I Know was her wedding date. On the 11th of January, 2008, aged 40, she gave birth to Jacob Emerson Fishman, her son. Jacob Emerson Fishman.
